Can it be done?

I am a trombonist with many years professional experience. I wanted to create a blog about playing brass instruments with dentures. I just got dentures about 6 weeks ago, actually the "uppers" are still temporary while my gums shrink and heal.

I tried twice to play my horn. The first time was a disaster the pain was pretty intense.. my stupidity for trying to soon.

I waited a couple of weeks and was able to play a few scales and tunes. I think I may be able to play when I get refitted for my permanent uppers. I will just have to wait and see.

Does anyone have eny experience in this area..

Tips, tricks, or any help would be

I play tuba and trombone. I have been living on borrowed time for years. I have an upper and lower partial, and undergo periotorture every few months. I do okay, and if anyone bitches about my playing I compare it to a runner with prostheses. It is what it is.
